Introducing Supro Tex 7110 the latest in IFF’s RE-IMAGINE PROTEIN® program. This product is designed to bring innovation and breakthrough technology to customers and consumers. It was created to meet the needs of the up to 40% of global consumers interested in meat-alternatives that have the same taste and texture as animal-origin meats. Supro Tex is an 80 % protein content product, made from high quality soy protein, created to mimic chunks of whole-muscle meat. It can be processed with a variety of colors and flavors to create a wide range of plant-based dishes that replicate the experience of eating beef, chicken, or lamb.
For manufacturer’s savings, this ingredient ships dry, reducing freight and refrigeration costs. Once hydrated this product holds its shape throughout the manufacturing process. Because of its unique composition it does not break apart during tumbling or simmering maintaining the appearance and bite of a traditional animal protein. The hydration and seasoning process can be adjusted to create the type of meal desired.
